Power & Performance
The F-250 is built with one of three powerful engines: the 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine, the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8, and the 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine. Each of these engines is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission that is more than capable of hauling quite a heavy load.
The horsepower per engine is as follows:
- 6.2-liter V8 - 385 horsepower
- 7.3-liter V8 - 430 horsepower
- 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel V8 - 475 horsepower
When it comes to towing power, depending upon the engine you chose, you can expect the Ford F-250 to be able to tow between 13,300 and 22,800 pounds. The payload of the F-250 is up to 4,290 pounds.

One of the latest features of the F-250 Super Duty is a TorqShift automatic transmission which offers a number of "modes" not previously available to drivers. You will be able to choose between the following drive modes:
- Normal
- Deep Snow
- Sand
- Tow/Haul
- Eco

When it comes to technology, the Ford F-250 is at the forefront of driver technology. All Ford F-250s are standard equipped with Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢. This system utilizes technology to provide a number of safety features.
All Ford F-250s are equipped with Ford SYNC and SYNC® 3 systems that include a touchscreen that makes operating your vehicle a breeze. Not only will you be able to connect your smartphone to your F-250 using either Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, you will find that you can utilize these apps to lock or unlock your F-250, start the vehicle remotely, and more! You will also enjoy a wireless Wi-Fi hotspot in the F-250 as well.
