What is Ford Advantage? Whether you call it Ford Blue, Ford Blue Advantage or Ford Blue certified, here’s what that means.
Ford Blue Advantage is a used-vehicle program, powered by AutoTrader, that guarantees access to quality pre-owned vehicles. Any vehicle, not just Fords, can be designated Ford Blue Certified, this means the vehicle is under 10 years old and has fewer than 120,000 miles. It also includes a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ for complete transparency. It then must pass a rigorous 139-point inspection.
What is the Ford Advantage GOLD certified?
A Ford vehicle that is less than six years old and displays an odometer reading of below 80,000 miles is considered for the Ford Blue Advantage Gold certificate. Contrary to the Blue Advantage listed above, this Gold certified is for Ford vehicles only. Both are available at our Milledgeville Ford Dealership, conveniently located near Macon and Warner Robins.
What is the difference between the Blue Certified Vehicles and Gold Certified in the Ford Blue Advantage program?
Blue certified vehicles can be any make of vehicle, not limited to Ford. Gold certified vehicles are only Ford vehicles. The program first began with only Ford vehicles, but now encompasses all makes.

Blue certified vehicles can be up to 10 years, but must have less than 120,00 miles.

Gold certified cars can be up to 6 years old, but must have less than 80,000 miles.
The inspection for a Gold certified vehicle is more invasive – 172 points vs. 139 for Blue Advantage.
Warranties differ too. Blue certified vehicles come with a 90 day / 4,000 mile Comprehensive warranty. But the Gold certified vehicle warranties are longer, with both a Comprehensive and a Powertrain warranty (see details on both below).

What is the warranty for the Ford Advantage Blue certification?
90-Day/4,OOO-Mile (whichever comes first) Comprehensive warranty. There is no Powertrain warranty on these vehicles.
What is the warranty for the Gold certification?
The warranty on the Gold Advantage is longer and more comprehensive. There is a 12 month / 12,000 mile (whichever comes first) comprehensive warranty. And then there’s a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty.
Does the Blue Advantage come with Roadside assistance?
Every Ford Blue Advantage used vehicle comes with complimentary Roadside Assistance available 24/7, 365 days a year. Blue Certified vehicles are covered for 90 days or 4,000 miles (whichever comes first). Gold Certified vehicles are covered for 7 years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first).
Is there a money back guarantee on the Ford Advantage?
Yes, it comes with a 14-day, 1000 mile warranty, whichever comes first. This is for the Blue and Gold level.
How is the Ford Advantage program different than any other online car buying experience?
